Hannah Harden

Hannah is a LPC-MHSP. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Hannah takes a holistic approach to counseling and believes that it is important to address all areas of an individual’s life. By focusing on you as a whole person, Hannah not only can help you with your mental health but with your quality of life. A deeper understanding of your mind, body, and spirit can lead to greater self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-acceptance. Hannah’s approaches are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client while creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential space for transparency.

Her work is rooted on utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She uses a variety of techniques to help her clients feel more in control of what they think, how they act, and how they feel.

Hannah’s specialties and areas of interest include working with anxiety, depression, health and wellness, trauma, adjustment and stage of life. Hannah has developed a particular interest in supporting clients who struggle with body positivity and eating issues, and her current training focus has been with these issues. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families across various demographics, educational levels, and intellectual abilities.  Her past job experiences include employment as a therapeutic foster care case worker, a domestic violence counselor, as well as a CrossFit and Cheerleading coach.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her two dogs, CrossFit, Rock Climbing, Traveling, and Hiking.
