Mrs. Christi’s Approach to Therapy
Christi Johnson is a graduate student at Lipscomb University, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arkansas State University in 2021. She is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, and is a student representative of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association. Christi is deeply passionate about advocating for children, families, and individuals by cultivating a genuine and empathetic space to work through suffering and seek healing together. In her personal time, she enjoys martial arts, traveling, kayaking, baking, remodeling her home, and quality time with her husband.
Christi is under the supervision of Dr. Mary Payne, PhD, BCB, Licensed Psychologist, HSP of CFCC and Dr. Jake Morris, PhD, LPC-MHSP of Lipscomb University.
