Dr. Brown’s Approach to Therapy

Dr. Brown’s approach – to work and life- is sprinkled with humor, compassion, curiosity, and direct feedback. She celebrates neurodiversity and understands what it is like to experience the world from a unique lens. Her ultimate goal in therapy and assessment is to develop a safe and trusting relationship with those she works with. 

Dr. Brown is also known to be thorough and unconditional in her care for others. In therapy, she tailors her sessions to each client’s needs, using evidence-based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, along with creative methods like play and art.
